The smiling orange is the trademark of Atomik, one of Miami's best-known graffiti artists. On this Wynwood wall it appears huge, with its green stem, teardrop and chipped tooth, on a turquoise background.
The detail that ties the mural to GTA 6 is in the upper right corner: a badge with the orange in the middle that reads "Vice Dale County" and "Leonida". It is a play on Miami-Dade, Miami's county, moved to Leonida, the state where the game takes place, Rockstar's version of Florida.
Below it are the "Atomik" signature, the words "Miami Style Graffiti" and a list of shout-outs to friends and fellow writers.
About the artist: Atomik is Adam Paul Vargas, born in Kendall, South Florida. He first painted the orange as a tribute to the Orange Bowl, Miami's old stadium, demolished in 2008, and since then it has spread across hundreds of walls in the city and to galleries abroad. He is on Instagram as @atomiko.
Shot early in the morning of October 25.
