Ubisoft took the community by surprise on Tuesday (28) by announcing the future of The Division Resurgence. The biggest news is that the title, which had previously been focused on mobile devices, is now available for PC in early access, marking a new cross-platform chapter for the franchise.

Starting now, players can download The Division Resurgence via Ubisoft Connect and enjoy full support for cross-play and cross-progression. This means you can start playing on your phone and pick up exactly where you left off on your computer, or play with friends on any platform.

Ubisoft has detailed an ambitious plan for recurring updates. The game will adopt a system of new seasons every four months, with smaller content updates (phases) every six weeks.

- May 12 (Season 1 – Phase 2): Start of Dark Zone events, new Speed Run modes, and the Classified Ops 1.2 pass (featuring the Strawberry Milkshake exotic weapon and the Pyromaniac outfit).
- June (Season 1 – Phase 3): Arrival of the Classified Ops 1.3 pass, including the Scorpio exotic weapon and the Freemen outfit.
- August (Season 2): Official launch of the final PC version. All progress made in the current early access will be carried over.
- Season 3: A major narrative expansion is planned, delving deeper into the mysteries of the outbreak in New York.
The Division Resurgence aims to deliver the same tactical experience as the console versions in a free-to-play format.
