While browsing GTA Online groups, the Portal Viciados reader found the developer’s official crew, which is restricted and identified by the tag “DEVS.” This group includes the company’s top brass and official institutional accounts.

Upon looking at the hierarchy tab and the members, one detail stood out: alongside accounts known as "RockstarLondon" and "RockstarSupport," there is a profile listed as RockstarBrazil. Check out the logo below:

The account features a unique logo, with the company’s “R” in black on a green background. The panel also reveals the presence of accounts from other countries, such as Korea, Nigeria, and Somalia.
Will there be a Rockstar Games development studio in Brazil?

Although the discovery is exciting for GTA 6 fans, the answer is no. The existence of this profile does not mean that Rockstar Games will open a studio focused on creating games in Brazil.
In practice, these accounts with country names serve as a mark of corporate presence. They represent the divisions responsible for commercial operations, localization, and, most importantly, the marketing team active in those regions.
Rockstar Games and GTA 6 Marketing in Brazil

Even without a game production studio, Rockstar Games already has a local team operating in Brazil, and the fruits of this work have been gaining increasing prominence:
- Media outreach: The team is responsible for sending weekly GTA Online updates and monthly Red Dead Online news directly to Portal Viciados and other websites and content creators in the country.
- Support for content creators: The studio has a tradition of recognizing the community’s dedication by sending gifts and exclusive promotional materials to major YouTube personalities, such as SanInPlay and DavyJones.
- Special promotions and events: Recent campaigns have involved partnerships with Flow Games and other creators on Twitch, offering in-game currency (Twitch Drops) to players who watched the streams.
With the release of GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) approaching—which promises to be the biggest entertainment event of the decade—this structure will be essential.
