Was DLSS 5 technology made for GTA 6?

When asked if DLSS 5 had been designed specifically to handle the complexity of a game like GTA 6, Ziebert was cautious.
The executive noted that, officially, Rockstar Games has not even confirmed the existence of a PC version yet, which makes it impossible to make any statements about the stage of technological development for that platform.
However, he noted that the visuals of GTA 6 appear realistic enough to benefit greatly from NVIDIA’s technologies. According to Ziebert, the application of DLSS does not depend on the game’s level of realism, but rather on the technical opportunities for improvement that the graphics engine offers.
Is hyper-realism the only way forward?

One of the most interesting points of the conversation was NVIDIA’s vision for the future of graphics. Ziebert stated that hyper-realism is not necessarily the only answer for the industry.
Regarding the Rockstar franchise, the executive emphasized that GTA has always maintained a "stylized identity." Even with state-of-the-art lighting systems, the series uses its own artistic choices to work around hardware limitations, maintaining a look that is recognizable as a game, not as real footage.
