The version of Denuvo installed in Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom’s latest hit released on February 27, was bypassed in just a month and a half.
The feat was accomplished by a hacker known as "voices38," who came up with a solution that promises to be a game-changer for pirates.
Previously, a bypass for the game already existed, but it required the user to disable essential Windows security features (Hypervisor), leaving the computer vulnerable.

The major difference with voices38’s “crack” is that it is considered safe, as it does not require risky maneuvers on the operating system.
Crucial technical points:
- Denuvo hasn’t disappeared: It’s important to understand that the protection hasn’t been removed from the files, just “tricked.” It continues to run in the background, which means performance tests between the original and pirated versions shouldn’t show significant differences in FPS.
- Arms race: Irdeto (owner of Denuvo) is already aware of the vulnerability and working on an even more robust version to counter the attack by voices38.
- Safety first: Using unofficial versions always carries risks, and Portal Viciados reiterates its call for players to support Capcom by purchasing the original Resident Evil Requiem.
