The release of GTA 6 (Grand Theft Auto VI) is scheduled for November 2026, and anticipation for Trailer 3 is very high, as it is expected to mark the start of the aggressive marketing campaign promised by Take-Two.

However, instead of asking for release dates or begging for gameplay, the community has rallied around a much simpler request: no surprises this time, Rockstar.

The trauma of previous GTA 6 trailers
The GTA 6 marketing campaign has been chaotic, to say the least. On social media, content creator NikTek summed up fans’ sense of exhaustion by recalling the franchise’s recent history:
- Trailer 1: Originally planned for a scheduled premiere on YouTube, the video ended up leaking hours earlier, forcing Rockstar to release it in a hurry and ruining the magic of the live event.
- Trailer 2: To prevent further leaks, Rockstar Games adopted a “surprise” strategy, releasing the second trailer completely out of the blue, catching everyone off guard.
"Rockstar Games shouldn’t release Trailer 3 as a surprise," NikTek vented on X (formerly Twitter). "Please, just announce the date and time so I can grab some popcorn, turn off all the lights, and cancel all my plans before it airs."
The plea quickly reached other members of the community, such as YouTuber TGG. He shared NikTek’s post and sent a direct message to the developer: “Rockstar, please do this. The community hasn’t had a chance to celebrate a major GTA 6 event together yet.”
We at Portal Viciados fully support this request! Rockstar trailer releases are cultural events that bring the internet to a standstill. Being caught off guard in the middle of a workday or in a classroom takes away much of the fun.
We want that butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling in the final minutes, the time to grab a snack, and the chance to gather friends on Discord. Rockstar, give the community the chance to celebrate this special moment all together.
