One of the most significant chapters in the history of gaming in Brazil has just added a new chapter. Continuum Entertainment officially announced today (the 14th) that Outlive 25, the remastered version of the acclaimed real-time strategy game from the 2000s, will be released for PC via Steam on April 30, 2026.
Outlive 25 Gets a Release Date from Continuum
Originally released with the technical limitations of the hardware of its time, Outlive now receives the treatment it deserves. The remaster includes a complete overhaul of the visuals, with all assets individually rendered in high definition.
Additionally, the soundtrack and sound effects are now uncompressed, delivering high fidelity to the battle between humans and robots for control of the planet.

The biggest new feature is support for Online Multiplayer, a feature the community has been dreaming of for many years. Outlive 25 will allow competitive matches with up to 16 simultaneous players.
To aid in training and tactical planning, the studio has implemented the innovative Replay Mode, which allows players not only to review matches but also to rewind the action at any moment to change a decision that led to defeat—a powerful tool for RTS masters. Additionally, an auto-save feature will be included.
Outlive 25 also marks the return of the legendary Campaign Editor, completely rebuilt to be intuitive for creating custom campaigns.
Outlive and Take-Two Interactive
It’s important to remember that Outlive’s legacy transcends our borders. In 2000, the title was one of the first Brazilian games to have a real global impact, being distributed in the US and Europe by Take-Two Interactive, the same company that publishes billion-dollar franchises like GTA (Grand Theft Auto) and Red Dead Redemption.
The Outlive mission will resume on April 30 for PC players!
