For years, the Red Dead Redemption 2 community has begged for more attention to the game’s online mode, which ended up being quietly sidelined by the developer. The leaked documents explain the reason in cold, hard numbers:
- Average weekly revenue: While GTA Online rakes in an impressive $9.5 million per week, Red Dead Online brings in an average of $507,000.
- Annual estimate: Revenue projections show GTAO bringing in around $498.8 million per year, compared to “just” $26.4 million for RDO.
