As June draws to a close, anxiety is already building among subscribers to the PlayStation Plus (PS Plus).
As usual, the official announcement of the plan's free games Essential is near and, while Sony doesn't confirm the titles, it's time to make our own forecasts for the July 2025.

With the match scheduled to continue August 2025releasing the first title now would be a smart way of increase the hype and encourage new players to get to know the franchise. It's a common PS Plus tactic: to offer the first installment before a sequel hits the market.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human
A Techland is preparing news for the franchise, with a possible Dying Light 3 approaching. What's more, Dying Light 2 is about to leave the PS Plus Extraand place it in the Essential would guarantee continued access to the title, while creating interest in the next chapter of the series.
In short, it's worth remembering that these forecasts are specific to the Essential plan. The level games Extra and Premium are usually announced separately, at a later date than the monthly titles.
