GTA 6 | No more sealing? Rockstar Games owner quits Woke policies (DEI)

The end of DEI policies in Take Two and GTA 6?

The information was revealed by the portal GameFilewhich compared the recent report with that of the previous year. This analysis reveals the removal of an entire section which, until then, had extolled the importance of diversity within the company.

In 2024, the section called "Diversity, Equity and Inclusion" stood out:

"We firmly believe that diverse teams are more valuable and effective, and that diversity is fundamental to our success."

In 2025, this part was replaced by "Community and Engagement", with a new narrative:

"We firmly believe that diversity of thought drives the innovation that is essential to our success."

In other words, the discourse has changed. Beyond words, the Take-Two also failed to mention two previous awards received for his support of the community LGBTQincluding group recognition Gay Gaming Professionals.

This change follows a trend seen in other US giants, such as Disney, Google and Intelwhich have also been backtracking on IED agendas - especially after the start of the new Trump administration and the closure of subsidies aimed at supporting these movements.

Although Rockstar Games, a subsidiary of Take-TwoAlthough the company has yet to make an official statement, many fans have begun to speculate as to whether this new position might influence the content of GTA 6.

In short, it's worth remembering that the producer had already said that it was more conscious about the type of humor and satire it would use in the new game, something that many fans interpreted as self-censorship.
