This week, along with the new GTA Online (GTA 5), entitled Money Fronts, a Rockstar Games decided to give the players of PCnew advanced graphics options that promise to make the game even more realistic.
Similarly, if you thought that the Ray Tracing from before GTA 5 very beautiful, get ready to see the game with even more visual quality.
The enhanced version of GTA V in PC now features high-resolution reflections via ray tracing and a second layer of global illumination via ray tracing, something that was previously unofficially available.
In simple terms, this means that the game will much more accurately simulate the way light interacts with objects in the setting. More realistic reflections on metal surfaces, glass and puddles of water, as well as an even more natural setting, are some of the visible changes.
More beauty in GTA 5, more demand
Of course, it's not all flowers. The new graphics options are extremely demanding and, to take advantage of them, you'll need a robust PC. The technology ray tracing requires a good video cardand the right processor and memory to keep the game running smoothly.
Even so, this update shows the commitment of Rockstar Games with ongoing support for the title - something that isn't common for games with such a long history.
GTA Online and the Money Fronts DLC
In addition to the graphical improvements, the update Money Fronts brought new content to the GTA Onlineincluding vehicles, missions and events.
In short, although the focus here is on the visual improvements, it's interesting to see how the production company has taken advantage of the momentum of the new DLC to surprise the players of GTA 5 in PC.
